ABOUT
US
The Educational Psychology Graduate Student
Organization at the University of Houston,
EPSY-GSO, is a student organization that
promotes social community among educational
psychology graduate students enrolled at the
University of Houston, serves as a forum for
sharing scholarly ideas and provides
opportunities for professional networking,
development and innovative research.
The mission of EPSY-GSO is to promote and
support the individual student, the
Educational Psychology Department, and the
University of Houston. GSO provides a social
network to support and aid student
development and promote wellness, serve as a
forum for sharing scholarly ideas, and
foster communication across the various
levels of student experience (i.e. across
cohorts and degree plans).
EPSY-GSO also promotes and cultivates
collaborative and cooperative relations
between students and faculty by providing
networking, professional development and
research collaboration opportunities. It
provides scholarly student representation
from the Department of Educational
Psychology for the University of Houston and
its surrounding community.
