TO FIND COPIES OF BOOKS CITED IN ENGINES SCRIPTS
Many of the books cited in the Engines radio scripts are uncommon -- even rare
-- and few are presently available in bookstores. Many, however, are a part of
The Engines of Our Ingenuity Collection in the Universtity of Houston Libraries.
You may click here to search the Library catalog
for all books in this collection. Also, for the collections books cited in the
scripts, we've begun
a process of linking them to their specific library record and call number.
If you don't live in Houston, almost all the call numbers will apply in your
own library, if it has the book.
We live in a Google/Wikipedia world and that is good, However there is no
pleasure like finding the actual source book and seeing all the imagery,
images, and texture that's missing from the many fine online cources.
Do take time to look at some of the original material that we cite online.
