This refresher course is taken annually to provide safety training for potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens in the work environment. Blood and other body fluids may contain bacteria and viruses that can cause serious injury or death. This course explains the potential hazards associated with body fluids and how workers should protect themselves with gloves and other elements comprising “universal precautions”.
