Risk Control

Risk controls are required conditions and/or tools for all identified hazards in the workplace.  Risk controls are essential to achieving utmost safety.  Selection of risk controls should be part of a collaborative effort between EHLS, shop personnel, and the shop supervisor.

The most effective & feasible control solutions are those that:

  • Eliminate or reduce risk
  • Are easy to implement and use
  • Have no adverse impact on productivity or quality of work
