Learning, Design & Technology Graduate Certifications & Certificates

The Learning, Design & Technology Program provides coursework to prepare students for the following certificates:

A Master Technology Teacher (MTT) Certification

This is a state of Texas-approved certification intended to help school districts identify teachers with an expertise in technology integration and mentorship in technology skills. Four courses are required:

  • CUIN 7350: Integrating Technology into the Curriculum
  • CUIN 7390: Instructional Design
  • CUIN 7374: Multimedia for the Classroom
  • CUIN 7328: Technology and Teacher Education

University of Houston Learning, Design & Technology Certificates

These certificates can be completed with online only courses or a hybrid option.

Graduate Certificate in Designing and Developing Educational Graphics

For professionals working in education or private industry who wish to enhance their ability to design, create, and publish effective educational graphics.

Certificate students complete four courses and a mini-portfolio with artifacts from their courses and a reflection. Students choose four courses from the list below:
