M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction degree GRE Waiver

The GRE requirement is waived for applicants to the Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction degree program. The applicant must have at least one of the following degrees from a regionally accredited institution as specified in the UH Minimum Qualifications for Admission to Masters and Doctoral Programs :

  • An overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 or higher (on a 4-point scale), or
  • A master’s degree, or
  • A terminal degree in one of the following 14 fields:
    • Philosophy (Ph.D.)
    • Architecture (B. Arch)
    • Chiropractic (D.C., D.C.M.)
    • Dentistry (D.D.S., D.M.D.)
    • Law (LLB., J.D.)
    • Medicine (M.D.)
    • Occupational Therapy (O.T.D.)
    • Optometry (O.D.)
    • Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
    • Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)
    • Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
    • Audiology (Au. D.)
    • Podiatry (D.P.M., D.P., Pod. D.)
    • Theology (M. Div., M.H.L., B.D., or Ordination)
    • Veterinary medicine (D.V. M. or V. M. D.)
