The Golden Paw Employee of the Month for May 2017 is Adria Terry from the Center for Diversity and Inclusion.
Adria was nominated for her ability to adapt to the changing needs of her office and for being an exceptional team player:
“Adria is deserving of the Golden Paw this month for a number of reasons. This month, much like every other month, she has demonstrated such a positive attitude, flexibility exceeding expectations and a commitment to the other individuals on the team and our department as a whole. This month in particular, she has been a great team player and despite a full plate of her own responsibilities, she found time to help others with their work. While things typically slow down for our area around this time of year, it seems that this year we are still moving at full speed. While many in the office are tired, Adria keeps the positive attitude and effort to keep others up and moving. This month, she assisted with interviews of our new student leaders, conducted extra workshops, covered the front desk, and provided input and really helpful feedback on a number of developing projects that she was not directly involved with (sometimes when requested at the last minute); much of which is outside her assigned responsibilities and did all of it with a smile on her face. She is a great team player and any department would be lucky to have Adria's flexibility, positive energy, innovative ideas and commitment to success on their team. I am very happy that we have the Golden Paw award because it gives the opportunity to recognize a very valuable employee in a small way for all of the BIG contributions that she brings to the individuals in our department, the students on this campus, and the success of the division as a whole.”
Please join us in congratulating Adria Terry on receiving the Golden Paw Employee of the Month Award.
