Citizenship Month

City of Houston Fifth Annual Citizenship Month
November 1st – 30th

The University of Houston is proud to be supporting the City of Houston Annual Citizenship Month  by creating opportunities for members of the UH community to be a part of the active and engaged citizenry of the City of Houston. Citizenship Month is a series of exciting events and programs designed to raise awareness of citizenship by celebrating the many faces of our City. These events and programs encourage and enhance citizenship and civic engagement by building bridges of understanding, cooperation and awareness of Houston's unique multicultural nature and international business climate.

The University of Houston's month of events will be highlighted by "The International Market Place" , which takes place on Thursday, November 14th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Butler Plaza and will provide a venue that celebrates the diverse cultural makeup of the University of Houston.
