  Support the “Spirit of Houston” Cougar Marching Band at a fun-filled, exciting evening of music and dance.
Houston Food Bank
6:00 - 9:00pm @ Houston Food Bank
  Assist M.V.P. in feeding the Houston Community. In conjunction with the “Houston Food Bank”, students aid in preparing and packaging food that will be disbursed to the patients who are served by the “Food Bank”.

  The Mother has lost in feuds with the Felix family all her menfolks except her youngest son, The Bridegroom. She arranges a wedding with The Bride, who is loved by young Leonardo Felix. He and The Bride run away. Guided by The Beggar Woman (Death) and The Moon (A Young Woodcutter), The Bridegroom overtakes the lovers. He and Leonardo kill each other, leaving The Mother alone in her empty house.

Trip to MFA Houston

  CEO will be providing UH students with an opportunity to see the "Calaveras Mexicanas: The Art and Influence of José Guadalupe Posada" exhibit at the MFA Houston.

Casa De Esperanza

  Volunteers serve lunch and play with children who are in crisis due to abuse, neglect, or HIV/AIDS.

  Students come together to aid in the upkeep of the University's Community Garden.
Houston Walk MS
6:00am - 2:00pm @ UH
  MVP volunteers will help make this walk a success by assisting with parking, registration, water stops, kids stations, and clean-up.

CEO Presents The Rising Phoenix
7:00 - 8:00pm @ UC Houston Room
 

The Rising Phoenix is a poet and writer from Florida whose real name is Kyla Lacey. Kyla Lacey’s bright disposition shines through her journey of life through triumph and tragedy. A survivor of domestic violence, she is primarily a poet but infuses comedy into the showcase of her real life situations, bringing light to topics like domestic violence in a way that make them approachable and memorable.

  CEO is collaborating with several cultural RSO's to provide a cultural marketplace for students on campus. Attendees will be able to purchase food from around the globe at the event.
Coca-Cola Free Movie Night: Pacific Rim

  SPB is providing a free screening of Pacific Rim for UH students.

November 15th

First Book Project
6:00 - 10:00pm @ Children's Museum of Houston
  We will need volunteers on the evening of Friday, November 15th, to assist with sorting out more than 40,000 books in various age categories, as well as assistance the next morning (Saturday, November 16th), to help distribute the books to registered families at the Museum. The book-sorting project on Friday evening will probably take a larger volunteer effort than the distribution the following morning, but volunteers will definitely be needed for both.
CEO & CSI Present Bride & Prejudice

  CEO and CSI will be playing a bollywood film, Bride & Prejudice with free food, dance lessons, and henna tattoos.

9:00 - 11:00am @ The Beacon
  Come support M.V.P. and provide assistance to those who truly need it. In conjunction with “The Beacon”, students will be able to provide hands-on support to the city’s homeless through a variety of activities including: food preparation, patient sign-in, and clothes washing.
