Dan joined the UH team in January 2012 and provides leadership, strategic vision, organization and administrative oversight of campus-wide programs, services, and operations for the following the departments and functional initiatives/areas: University Career Services, Forensics and Debate, Strategic Planning and Assessment, Marketing and Communication, Student Success Initiatives, Academic and Faculty Collaborations, Advancement, Emergency Management, Student Housing Initiatives, and Student Affairs Committees. He assists the Vice Chancellor/Vice President for Student Affairs with executive administrative support for student affairs units in the University of Houston System.
Over the past 24 years, Dan has worked at Syracuse University, the University of Arizona, Western Illinois University and most recently at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). His areas experiences include residence life, fraternity/sorority life, student activities, student government and student organizations, volunteer services, campus programming and student unions. Dan is the past two-term national president of the Association of College Unions International.
Dan is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor in Personnel and Industrial Relations and the University of Miami with a Master in Higher Educational Leadership. Dan is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University and is working on his dissertation.
