The Cougar Card is the official photo identification card for the University of Houston. The Cougar Card gives you access, flex account and campus dining options:
- Access to: Houston Cougar Athletics events, Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, Computer Labs around Campus, Library Privileges, the Cougar Line Shuttle, and residential housing.
- Flex Account: Add money to this account and it can be used at any food option on campus, campus bookstores, some vending machines and on-campus residential laundry facilities. Flex Account money rolls over to the next semester if not fully used.
- Campus Dining: Purchased meal plans/Cougar Cash plans are deposited for use at any food location on campus. Meal plans expire at end of each semester; Cougar Cash plans roll over to the next semester if not fully used.
Privileges associated with the card are non-transferable, and the card must be presented upon request of a university official. Photo identification, such as a driver's license, military ID, or passport, is required.
