 What are Research Cafes?


 Research Cafes are informal, interactive discussions open to everyone interested in the topic being  presented. Participation in the dialogue between the audience and the speaker is strongly encouraged.

 Who should attend?


  ALL MAJORS interested in discussing the challenges and tips to dealing with autism.

About Dr. Amy Wood


Dr. Wood is President and Scientific Advisor for Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) – Houston. In this capacity, she reviews data on research studies and clinical trials to ensure the studies and trials are scientifically valid before they are supported and promoted by FEAT-Houston. She also serves as a resource for individual families and organizations seeking to better understand the research behind the success of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and how it can be successfully utilized to acquisition skills, address challenging behavior, and improve quality of life.
