Travel Support for Posters on the Hill – internal deadline Nov. 6

The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) hosts an undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill each year.  Selected students from institutions across the nation will have an opportunity to showcase their research and talk to members of Congress and representatives from federal funding agencies.  The deadline for submission of applications to CUR for the Spring 2009 event is November 10, 2009.  More information about the Posters on the Hill and the national Call for Abstracts can be found at: http://www.cur.org/pohcall.html

To encourage UH participation, travel support is available for the UH student and faculty mentor selected to represent the university. UH faculty mentors and students must email Karen Weber (kweber@uh.edu) no later than November 6, 2009 to be considered for the travel grant program.
