Our goals for this semester:
Increase and
maintain scholastic awareness and emphasis throughout the entire year and
create and promote a positive attitude toward academic success- studying,
attending class, and achieving one’s potential.
The general program consists of: a Scholarship
Dinner to recognize the academic achievements of women in the chapter,
scholarship, fellowships, and dues grants. Our sisters with over a 3.75
receive a “Miss-An-Event-Pass.”
And there are all kinds of enrichment activities
included in our program. Our director of scholarship plans educational
and cultural presentations/events every month. Any woman that achieves an
"A" on an exam or major paper will receives a “Smart Cookie” award and will
be entered into a monthly drawing for the “A Bag” award. The director of
scholarship provides study tips, vocabulary words, and other helpful items
in the weekly Anchorline at chapter meetings.
