Sisterhood

The bond of sisterhood was the motivation for beginning Delta Zeta. Since its creation, it has only grown stronger. Today, with over 180,000 alumnae and college members and 160 chapters in the United States and Canada, Delta Zeta is a testament to lifetime sisterhood and cherished ideals.

Although college is only a brief moment of your life, your experiences with Delta Zeta will help you realize your greatest potential. Delta Zeta is founded first on principles of learning, not only in a scholastic sense, but in every phase of life. Whether it is through volunteer service, holding an officer position, making new friends at an event, or studying with your Big Sis, our members grow in roles that interest them.

Being a part of Delta Zeta means surrounding yourself by accomplished young women who will be the leaders and innovators of tomorrow. As we look to the future, Delta Zeta will continue to light paths of friendship for many generations to come.

Scholarship

Delta Zetas are always around to help one another with academics. Chances are, if you need help with a class, one of your sisters has already taken it, and she'd be glad to help you out! DZ's often gather in the dining room, living room, and library to study together in a quiet and encouraging environment.

Our academics officer works hard to deliver programming to encourage sisters to do their best in their classes. At chapter meeting, the academics officer recognizes sisters on their weekly achievement in their classes. Each semester, the chapter holds a dinner with our alumnae and celebrates academic accomplishments. The awards include GPA over 3.0, GPA over 3.5, best active GPA, best new member GPA, best big and little GPA, and most improved GPA.
