The Cullen Performance Hall strives to attract local, national, and international artists and events to provide entertainment for the University of Houston and surrounding community while also providing an event space for university affiliates.
The Cullen Performance Hall promotes a facility that provides a memorable experience for patrons, promoters, guests and visitors.
The Cullen Performance Hall Advisory Committee (CPHAC) is searching for one student to serve as an at-large member for a one-year term, September 2019 through August 2020. All currently enrolled UH students are eligible to apply. The 10-member committee includes students, faculty, staff and external community members.
This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the theater director on Cullen Performance Hall items including, but not limited to:
1. serving as a conduit for the exchange of information and ideas between the University community, Cullen Performance Hall and University administration;
2. providing advice and assistance regarding matters pertaining to events, patrons, facilities, staffing quality and types of services offered;
3. providing advice and assistance on matters involving contracts; and
4. providing advice and assistance on other related matters as requested by University administration.
The committee meets on a quarterly basis, for approximately one hour.Applications will be accepted until filled.
