Welcome to CEO

The Council of Ethnic Organizations is a student fee–funded organization that promotes cultural awareness and appreciates the diversity at the University of Houston. We are comprised of individuals and member group organizations that represent the diverse student body and interests of the University of Houston. We're a fee-funded group, which means all of our events are paid for with a portion of your tuition (meaning they're free for you)!

About Us

The Council of Ethnic Organizations (CEO) was founded in 1972 at the University of Houston. CEO started off as a small organization and has blossomed over the years. With UH being the second most diverse institution in the nation, CEO delivers fun and engaging events that allow students to explore the cultural diversity campus has to offer. Becoming a member is easy and completely free.

Membership Forms

CEO is a unique organization in the sense that other organizations are able to join us in order to gain event sponsorship for their cultural programming. As an umbrella organization, some of the things we can provide assistance on are marketing and equipment rentals, which include a snow cone machine and a popcorn machine. Together with other organizations, we can give students a greater opportunity to experience culture and diversity on a deeper level.

Please Note: In order to take advantage of our equipment, you must be registered as a CEO organization. Email us at ceoatuh@gmail.com for more information.
