The Council of Ethnic Organizations (CEO) was founded in 1972 at the University of Houston. CEO started off as a small organization and has blossomed over the years. With UH being the second most diverse institution in the nation, CEO delivers fun and engaging events that allow students to explore the cultural diversity campus has to offer. Becoming a member is easy and completely free.
CEO's mission is to enrich student life and promote cultural diversity through inclusive and educational events at the University of Houston.
As our mission states, we aim to enrich student life and promote cultural diversity through inclusive and educational events on campus. One way we do this is by providing access to our resources for other student organizations on campus that have similar goals. We also help to create a rich campus environment through hosting events that celebrate minority populations and different cultures at the University of Houston.

CEO is a unique organization in the sense that other organizations are able to join us in order to gain event sponsorship for their cultural programming. As an umbrella organization, some of the things we can provide assistance on are marketing and equipment rentals, which include a snow cone machine and a popcorn machine. Together with other organizations, we can give students a greater opportunity to experience culture and diversity on a deeper level.
Please Note: In order to take advantage of our equipment, you must be registered as a CEO organization. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
