Campus Leaders Reception Nomination Form

Presidential Excellence

This award is presented to the President of a registered student organization. The President that has excelled in their leadership term and has served diligently in making the organization have a strong presence on campus. This student exemplifies the true qualities of a leader by using innovation and strong work ethic to achieve goals.

Nomination Requirements
  1. Must be a president of a registered student organization
  2. Completed nomination form
  3. Résumé from the candidate denoting leadership positions, membership in student organizations, community service, and/or work experience. Email résumé to salo@central.uh.edu
  4. A letter of recommendation (no more than 5000 characters) describing why the nominee should be considered for the award including the following information:
    • Description of leadership responsibilities that the nominee has held as president of his/her registered student organization
    • Description of personal and professional qualities that make the nominee an ideal president
    • Description of the specific initiatives and contributions made by the president that have impacted campus life at the University of Houston

Deadline to submit the nomination form, letter of recommendation, and additional documentation is 5:00 PM on Friday, March 8th, 2013. Nominated individuals and student organizations will be invited to attend the Campus Leaders Reception on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 at 5:30 PM in the University Center Houston Room.
