Scott Crain – Counselor

Scott Crain is very pleased to join the professional team at the Center for Students with DisABILITIES (CSD) at the University of Houston.

Scott comes to the CSD from the Houston Community College System (HCCS) Southwest Disability Support Service Office where he was an Academic Advisor, adaptive equipment specialist and National Evaluation Systems certified test administrator. He has worked closely with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission, Texas Commission for the Blind, and the Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to facilitate the academic needs of students. In his four years at HCCS, he has helped many students overcome a variety of physical and learning limitations and successfully pursue their educational goals.

Scott is a cum laude graduate of the University of Houston, receiving his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He plans to continue his graduate course work at the University of Houston as well. He has also been a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Fort Bend County Women's Center.
