The Center for Public Policy coordinates various professional training programs annually for Global Unisource, Inc.  Global Unisource offers study tours focusing on American government, economics, education and business practices for professionals in China.  Tailored for each group be it government officials and staff, educators or administrators the sessions are conducted by faculty of the University of Houston, University of Houston-Clear Lake, and the University of St. Thomas. 

Previous programs have focused on topics such as American Government, Education, Public Administration, Project Management,  Engineering, Intellectual Property Law, and Finance & Accounting.

 

In addition to classroom lectures, the programs include site visits to locations such as the Capitol in Austin, Houston City Hall, and the office of the Harris County Clerk.
