Karl Eschbach, PhD Associate Professor, Department of Demography and Organization Studies
Associate and Interim Director Dr. Karl Eschbach is an Associate Professor and Interim Director for the Institute for Demographic and Socioeconomic Research at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 1995, Dr. Eschbach earned the NICHD post-doctoral fellowship, Center for Demography and Ecology, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University (1992). His research interests include: Demography of racial and ethnic populations, immigration, neighborhoods and health and population health and health disparities.
