The Body

Me without a

relationship with Jesus...

.

Me with a

relationship with Jesus!

Christianity is not a religion.  At the heart of Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ - the Son of the only true God.  Any ceremony preformed or viewed simply to have completed the required act is useless in Christianity.  Everything, and I really mean everything, is done so that each one's individual relationship with the Christ grows and most of all, so that His name is exalted / magnified and so that more glory my be given to God.

The goal of this CPFI chapter is to help all Christians understand that regardless of our denominational backgrounds as Christians, we are to function as one.  We are to adhere to the teachings of the Holy Bible.  We are the body of Christ!

The Bible says: 4Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Romans 12

SO...How are we supposed to function as the Body of Christ?  First, we must become a child of God.  Everyone is a creation of God but not everyone is His child.  Check out the two links on the left  to see what the Bible says about our lives without a relationship with Jesus and how we may obtain one.
