  • Begin thinking about your desire to join us and mark your calendars!  We need students from EVERY class to come and assist in bringing much needed care to these citizens of Mexico.  You do not have to speak Spanish, but it helps.  We will need to hear of your desire to go now and a final decision made once school begins and you get your course syllabi and can make a better decision.

Note from UH COP ~ CPFI advisor Ms. Barbara T. Lewis:

Trips to Reynosa, Mexico are put on by Christ United Methodist Church and supported via personnel, funding, and marketing by several organizations including CPFI UH COP.  CPFI UH COP is an organization that is focused on maintaining a Christ-centered approach and focus in our beliefs as well as in all that we do, both within the college and outside of the College of Pharmacy .  Participation in medical trips in conjunction with other religious and/or secular organizations in no way supersedes our aim to live by the tenets of our faith.  Although we participate with other groups in bringing medical aid to those in need, the views of these groups are not necessarily endorsed by CPFI UH COP.
