The Health Care industry is experiencing a strong demand for people qualified as Medical Coders. 

Medical Coding

Health care providers depend on Medical Coders to assign proper diagnostic, procedure, and revenue codes in order to maximize quality patient care, compliance, and financial profitability. Accurate code assignment allows the provider to remain compliant and optimize reimbursement.

The Medical Coding program builds the skills our students need to get a fast start on a rewarding career in this in-demand profession.

This 32-week program equips our students with the skills for positions such as Medical Coding Specialist, Medical Records Technician, and other similar roles. It also prepares them for the Certified Coding Associate exam, enabling them to earn a widely recognized industry certification.

Prerequisites

A high school diploma or GED. Students should have 12th-grade proficiency in English. Students without strong typing skills may require additional training course and coursework.
