The Health Care industry is experiencing a strong demand for people trained in Health Services including Medical Billing Specialists. Medical BillingMedical billing professionals perform a range of tasks encompassing the billing and accounts receivable management functions of a health care practice. Their major responsibility is to accurately submit claims and patient statements in order to receive the correct reimbursement for medical services rendered, in the shortest amount of time. The Medical Billing program gives our students the training they need to get a fast start on a rewarding career in the rapidly-growing medical billing industry. This 24-week program prepares our students for positions such as Medical Reimbursement Specialist, Patient Accounts Representative, and other similar roles. PrerequisitesA high school diploma or GED. Students should have 12th-grade proficiency in English. Students without strong typing skills may require additional training course and coursework. Program Elements
