The Commuter Club is a program designed to reduce peak hour commuter trips to the campus. Reducing the number of commuter trips to campus is one piece of the solution to the parking problem on campus. Options to carpool and for car sharing are parts of this club. Students with a student Q-Card receive 50% off METRO fares! METRO Q-Cards are reloadable cards used to pay fares on METRO buses and METRORAIL. You can complete the application form at the Welcome Center Parking Services Desk and will receive your Q-Card typically within 2 weeks. You can also reload your METRO Q-Card at the Welcome Center Parking Services Desk. To learn more about the Q-Card, go to METRO's website and click on the Fare Information tab.

Bicycle racks are scattered throughout the campus for students to lock their bike while in class or other activities. It is recommended that all bikes be registered with the UH Department of Public Safety, for more information on how to register your bicycle on campus, please click here.
