Jacqueline Anne Nalett

Biography

Jacqueline Nalett (adjunct faculty) has been at the University of Houston since 1994 where she teaches various levels of Modern Dance, Jazz, and Aesthetics of Movement. Since January 2006 she has been on staff at Rice University where she teaches jazz, hiphop, and modern dance. She is also a dance teaching artist with Young Audiences of Houston. She previously taught modern dance technique at The Hope Center and is currently in training to become a ballroom dance instructor at The River Oaks School of Dance. Jacqueline received her B.A. in dance from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She performs and her choreography has been presented at the Wortham Theatre in downtown Houston, Big Range Dance Festival, Houston Fringe Festival, American College Dance Festivals in New England and Texas, and the Houston Jewish Community Center's Summer Series.
