For more than 25 years, Kathy Ryan, distinguished photography director at the New York Times Magazine, has commissioned and published the images that have marked history and shaped the public’s understanding of the world’s events.
In this free lecture, she discusses her career and how some of the magazine’s landmark photographs and visual essays have been selected. The lecture is followed by a reception and signing of her recently published book, The New York Times Magazine Photographs, available for purchase at the event for $75.
