UH advances in 2008 National Science Foundation report for federally-financed R&D expenditures

NSF researchUH was ranked #3 in the 2008 NSF report of federally-financed R&D expenditures in psychology, among 418 universities and colleges surveyed.

The survey from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Science Resources Statistics is conducted annually. It collects the separately budgeted R&D expenditures in science and engineering (S&E) fields reported by universities and colleges. All funds reported are for activities specifically organized to produce research outcomes. These activities are either commissioned by an external agency, or are separately financed by an organizational unit within the institution. Expenditures are for science and engineering and for research and development activities only.
