Pulitzer Prize-winning author, historian, and public health expert David M. Oshinsky to Deliver 2019 McGovern Lecture
The University of Houston College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is pleased to present David M. Oshinsky, Ph.D., director of the Division of Medical Humanities at NYU Langone Health and a professor in NYU’s Department of History. Professor Oshinsky is the recipient of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize in History for Polio: An American Story. He will be the featured speaker for 2019 John P. McGovern Annual Award Lectureship in Family, Health, and Human Values at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 7 at the University Center South Theater.
