Political Scientist Joins Influential Journal

Jeremy D. Bailey, professor in the Department of Political Science, has been named among the new editors of American Political Thought. Bailey will serve a four-year term beginning this summer.

A quarterly publication that is interdisciplinary in scope, American Political Thought features research by political scientists, historians, literary scholars, economists, and philosophers on key political concepts such as democracy, constitutionalism, equality, liberty, citizenship, political identity, and the role of the state. Topics of Bailey’s publications include executive power, democratic theory, and the U.S. Constitution.
