The Master of Public Administration Program (MPA) provides higher levels of training and education for pre-service and in-service public managers, public policy analysts and public officials to address major public policy issues in a metropolitan scenario.
For Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 Applicants
Three $1000 scholarships will be offered to the competitive applicants who join the UH MPA program in Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 semesters. (Out-of-state student scholarship recipients may obtain a waiver allowing them to pay in-state tuition.)

Coats named Public Official of the Year
Michael Coats, former director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC), was given the Public official of the Year award at a luncheon at 11:30 A.M. on Friday February 22 in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion on the University of Houston Campus.
