Former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, who served under the Clinton administration, will speak in Houston to support his new bookAftershock: The Economy and America's Futureon Oct. 12, 2010, at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University.

The event is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. at Baker Hall, Suite 120, at 6100 Main Street.

The event is sponsored by Brazos Bookstore and co-sponsored by the University of Houston Department of Economics, the Rice University School of Social Sciences and Barbara Ann Radnofsky.

Reserved tickets cost $28, and come with an autographed copy of the book.
