The Center for Mexican American Studies seeks to establish and maintain multidisciplinary faculty research, scholarship, and collaborations by engaging a community of scholars and community members in academic and policy-relevant seminars and conferences, graduate and postgraduate fellowships, and by facilitating the dissemination of scholarship to local, state, and national communities. CMAS is now part of the Inter-University Program of Latino Research, and participating in this network of scholars promotes collaborations between centers across the country, bringing our Latino scholarship to a broader audience.
