Congratulations to CMAS Graduate Fellow Ana Rodriguez

CMAS Graduate Fellow Ana Rodriguez is among a select group of women chosen as delegates to the United Nations Conference. The conference will be held on March 8-15, at U.N. headquarters in New York. Rodriguez is currently in her second year as a graduate fellow with CMAS and pursuing a specialization in political social work.

CMAS welcomed Guest Speaker Eva Longoria to our 17th Annual Noche Cultural Banquet

The Center for Mexican American Studies welcomed Guest speaker Eva Longoria, Latina actress, activist and philanthropist to celebrate our 17th Annual Noche Cultural Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the University of Houston Hilton Hotel. Ms. Longoria gave an inspirational speech to the AAP students and guest that night. A scholarship was also established in her name and awarded to the  first recipient, AAP-UH student, Brenda Martinez pictured above with Dr. Tatcho Mindiola and Eva Longoria.
