Author, Educator & Founder of Nuestra Palabra Tony Diaz visited the CMAS offices to discuss his recent trip to Arizona to “smuggle” books dealing with Mexican Americans that have been banned by the state of Arizona. He made his presentation to the Latino Faculty Counsel and AAP Students.
The Center for Mexican American Studies publishes the University of Houston Series in Mexican American Studies with a focus on the social sciences, including history.
