JOHN WARREN, JR. has negotiated numerous research agreements for the University. John has been practicing International, Intellectual Property and Government Contract Law for over 35 years and has been admitted to the highest courts in Texas, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Florida, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Law Society of England and Wales. John is a graduate of Seton Hall University and obtained a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. He has authored articles on government contracting and intellectual property and frequently speaks on both subjects as well as international law.

EMMANUELLE SCHULER joined the Division of Research Center for Industrial Partnerships in 2005 where she negotiates agreements in the areas of nanotechnology and biotechnology. She has over 10 years of experience in nanotechnology and was previously in the research group of Nobel Laureate Richard E. Smalley at Rice University. Emmanuelle holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters on nanotechnology, science policy, and science communication.

HELAINE GUILLORY joined the Division of Research Center for Industrial Partnerships in August 2006. Helaine has over 15 years of administrative and business management experience. With a break in employment from the Texas A&M University System she went on to work as a Legal Assistant for the Waller County Criminal District Attorney. Ms. Guillory also held the position as a Research Associate for the division of Institutional Effectiveness Research and Analysis at Prairie View A&M University.

ANKUR DAYAL joined the Center for Industrial Partnerships in December 2007. Ankur brings with him about two years of university technology commercialization experience. Prior to joining UH, Ankur worked at the University of Kansas technology transfer department. Ankur, who holds a master’s degree in biomechanical engineering and a BS degree in mechanical engineering, also has a work background in the automobile industry.
