Welcome to the University of Houston Charter School.
We are aTexas Education Agency Recognized Public School with 100% Highly Qualified Teachers. UHCS serves students and families from the greater Houston area. Annually, 130 kindergarten through fifth grade students are enrolled in a model constructivist program. Thank you for your interest in UHCS. We aim to provide an excellent education for all students and to contribute to the greater field of education.

Mission Statement: The UHCS is to provide a student-centered curriculum that enhances the intellectual development, technological fluency and leadership ability of students. The knowledge gained by the students will allow them to transfer into the sixth grade at other schools and will give them strategic advantages.

Vision Statement: U of H Charter School is a model constructivist school that empowers children, parents and faculty in the global community to fulfill their potential through autonomy, wonder and discovery.
