Before submitting any ad materials to The Daily Cougar production office by e-mail, please telephone your ad rep at the UH telephone number provided by our advertising office. If you need immediate assistance, call 713-743-5345 or 713-743-5350. 

The Daily Cougar DOES NOT sell advertising via e-mail 
or the World Wide Web. 

NEW ADVERTISERS:Please telephone one of the numbers above to request quotes, obtain scheduling information, make arrangements for payment, etc. The Daily Cougar advertising office will assign an ad rep to your account. 

ALL ADVERTISERS: 

• Ad materials: Please e-mail ONLY finished ads, ad copy, logos, PDFs, etc. -- to The Daily Cougar production office at dcads@mail.uh.edu.

• Please attach ad materials to an e-mail message that includes the names of your account and your ad rep at The Daily Cougar, and the size and run dates of the ad.

• Payment information: DO NOT send credit card numbers or other payment information through e-mail or via cell phone.

• Questions regarding payment, scheduling, etc.: Please direct all questions and other information regarding scheduling, payments, etc., to The Daily Cougar advertising office or business office at the telephone numbers above.

• Match proofs: Please fax a copy of the ad to 713-743-5384, ATTN: Production Office, The Daily Cougar. We will compare the fax to the hard copy we print out from your files.

• Compression software: Please use a file utility such as DropStuff or WinZip to compress any files you submit via e-mail. This both makes the file smaller (easier to e-mail) and prevents damage to your file that may occur during e-mail transfers. Please try to keep file sizes to between 10-20 MB.

New Rates for 2006-2007

New rates for display and classified advertising in The Daily Cougar go into effect on Monday, August 21, 2006. The new rates apply to all advertising scheduled to run through August 7, 2007.
