Mission: To facilitate and provide for the needs of Muslim's at the University of Houston.
ABOUT US
The Muslim Student's Association (MSA) at the University of Houston attempts to establish an Islamic network through fostering unity and a fraternal spirit amongst its members. Based on the basic Islamic ideals and principles, the MSA strives to uphold and instill morals and values to enhance and develop spiritual growth through Islamic teachings.
Among the activities that we currently hold are:
- Weekly Friday prayers throughout both semesters
- Zuhr, Asr, and Maghrib prayers at the Religion building
- Monday thru Thursday iftars (break-fasts) during the month of Ramadan
- Weekly dawah (Islamic information) table
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly Islamic classes, lectures, and seminars
- Participating with the community at large through sponsoring various events, charitable work, and humanitarian causes
