The UH Weeks of Welcome was established to promote and inform the UH community about the multitude of events that take place during the first two weeks of the fall semester. This tradition will continue to provide information, connect new and returning UH students to student organizations, departments, and resources, through the promotion of events and programs on a centralized web-calendar at www.uh.edu/wow.
The “UH Weeks of Welcome” online calendar features on-campus events that took place on Thursday, August 22nd through Friday, September 6th.
At the Study Abroad Fair students can learn how to earn UH academic credits for a Major or Minor, how to complete a language requirement, how to get an internship or how to do research in a different country. Representatives from faculty led, affiliated, and exchange study abroad programs will be hosting booths providing information and answering questions about studying abroad.
InfoEd will soon be the research administration management system for the University of Houston. Learn about the basic eight steps that a researcher works through when setting up a new proposal and learn about the setup questions which guide the proposal through the proper internal reviews and processes that are particular to the specifics of your project.
An informational session about the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship program geared towards those students wishing to apply.
