Autumn Knight is a Houston-based interdisciplinary artist. Autumn Knight holds an M.A. in Drama Therapy, from New York University (New York, NY) and a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Speech Communications from Dillard University (New Orleans, LA). Knight’s work has been in group exhibitions at various institutions including University Museum at Texas Southern University, DiverseWorks, Art League Houston, Alabama Song Ar t Space and Project Row Houses. She is currently an artist in residence at Galveston Artist Residency, Galveston, TX (2013-2014). Autumn Knight es una artista interdisciplinaria radicada en Houston. Recibió su M.A. en dramaterapia, de la New York University (Nueva York, NY) y su Licenciatura en Artes Dramáticas/Comunicaciones de Dillard University (Nuevo Orleans, LA). La obra de Knight ha sido incluida en exposiciones colectivas en una variedad de instituciones como University Museum de Texas Southern University, DiverseWorks, Art League Houston, Alabama Song Art Space, y Project Row Houses, entre otras. Actualmente es artista en residencia en Galveston Art Residency, en Galveston, Texas (2013-2014).  

Antena is a language justice and language experimentation collaborative founded in 2010 by Jen Hofer and John Pluecker, both of whom are writers, artists, literary translators, bookmakers and activist interpreters. FromJ anuary 18 – May 10, 2014, Antena will be in residence at Blaffer, where they will inhabit various spaces of the museum to explore how critical views on language can help us to reimagine and rearticulate the worlds we live in.
