n cooperation with the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, UH College of Pharmacy's Office of Experiential Programs hosts Preceptor Continuing Education Conferences in the fall and spring of each year.
The conferences are designed to inform attendees of the latest developments within the college, its Office of Experiential Programs and external entities such as the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, particularly activities and initiatives specific to preceptors and Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE/APPE). In addition, the conferences are intended to provide helpful advice on various topics and issues related to the preceptor/student relationship to ensure a positive, effective and safe learning/training experience.
The conferences are free to attendees, but advance registration is required due to limited space and attendees are responsible for parking expenses.
