The Women's Resource Center and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program invite the UH community to donate needed items to the Houston Area Women's Center. Certain undocumented immigrants can now apply for renewable and temporary work permits, Social Security numbers and protection from deportation through DACA. This event will serve as a prescreening for applicants to determine eligibilty. Those eligible can come to the DACA clinic where they will be assisted through the application process by volunteers, lawyers and student attorneys.
