Cultural Taste of Houston

Welcome to the first ever Cultural Taste of Houston, where 17 different cultural restaurants from around Houston will represent their native cultures. Enjoy different sample tasting from restaurants and experience live music including a steel band and Mariachi's!!! Plus, we will have pop-up shops.

How to help a friend in emotional distress

As a friend, you can learn to recognize the warning signals and risk factors, tips on how to respond and refer, and important contact numbers in helping others in distress. While the information is not intended to be exhaustive, it does provide you with a good overview of the signs when a student may be struggling or in crisis and valuable action steps you may take.
