Concert Chorale with Ars Lyrica

The Moores School of Music's Concert Chorale will perform Bach’s “Trauerode” and Handel’s “Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne” with Ars Lyrica Houston┬áin “Long Live the Queen.”

All Friends of Chamber Music concerts and outreach musical events are offered free of charge to all people. All attendees will be admitted through general admission to select seats. A free nursery will be available during the concert, and all guests are invited to a reception after the performance.

About the Concert Chorale
The Concert Chorale is the premier UH choral ensemble and consists of 40 – 50 singers, conducted by Dr. Betsy Cook Weber. Membership is open to advanced and experienced choral singers from all departments. The purpose of this ensemble is to provide high-level opportunities in collaborative singing. Performance literature includes a wide variety of musical styles from the standard concert repertory. Under Weber’s leadership, Concert Chorale has gathered acclaim across the United States and Europe.
