On Nov 16th, Get outside and explore the city of Houston covering 35 miles with a few interesting stops along the way. Participants must provide their own lunch and be able to comfortably ride a bike at 10 miles per hour.

In observance of American Diabetes Month, the UH Health Center will offer free diabetes screenings to UH students, faculty and staff with a valid photo ID from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8. Participants may choose to test non-fasting, 2-hour fasting or 8-10 hour fasting. But for the most accurate results, you are encouraged to fast (no food or drink other than water) for at least 8-10 hours prior to testing. It is okay to take your normal medications.
Testing will be done on a walk-in basis; no appointment is needed.
