On Nov 16th, Get outside and explore the city of Houston covering 35 miles with a few interesting stops along the way. Participants must provide their own lunch and be able to comfortably ride a bike at 10 miles per hour.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is encouraging the UH community to join us in expressing appreciation to our area service men and women. We would like to deliver hand made cards that express appreciation and thanks for their service in our military but we need you to help us make as many as possible. CAPS will provide materials such as construction paper, markers, glue, stencils, paint, etc and invite everyone to come mak e a card. We will also have a box for you to give change and other monetary donations that will be delivered to the Houston VA campus; laptop will be available for those who want to donate with a credit or debit card. Monies and cards will be delivered to the VA campus the day prior to Thanksgiving; UH CAPS staff will hand out cards to veterans during mealtime.
