The event features PDM 17, a group of 13 artists working towards BFAs in Photography and Digital Media at UH.

PDM 17 is a group of 13 artists working towards BFAs in Photography and Digital Media at the University of Houston. While photography is a constant in all of the students' art practices, the members of PDM 17 work in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, alternative processes, installation and video. The students are excited to be working with curators Jennifer Ward and Vinod Hopson of FotoFest International. Please join us for the Thesis Exhibition at Alabama Song on Friday, April 21 from 6 – 9 pm. Drinks provided by 8th Wonder Brewing Company.

Under the direction of Noe Marmolejo, the Moores School of Music Jazz Orchestra is performing with Eric Marienthal at the 2017 Katy/West Houston Jazz Festival. Hosted at the Katy High School Performing Arts Center, the festival offers a unique experience for the entire family. The festival will feature performances by student groups, as well as world-class jazz professionals.
