After a successful showing at the world-renowned international Aedes Gallery in Berlin, Germany, an exhibition by students at the UH Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design will make its U.S. debut in the Mashburn Gallery. “Houston: Genetic City” combines three semesters of studios where students and faculty researched Houston’s future post-industry, post-oil, and post sprawl. Presented as a series of maps, diagrams, and models, students explore potential development solutions for Houston’s hot, humid and flood-prone environment.
